W. Spencer McClelland, M.D.
Dr. McClelland practices all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology, including management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancy, office ultrasound, colposcopy, family planning, and minimally invasive surgery (including robotic surgery). He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency at NYU. During his residency, where he trained under the three other members of the practice, he was selected as Administrative Chief Resident and received the Porges Honor Resident Award and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Award for Excellence in Obstetrics, as well as numerous awards for his dedication to teaching. He has a special clinical and research interest in efforts to lower Cesarean section rates. He is eager to continue in the tradition of the practice, providing personalized, high-quality, evidence-based care. Dr. McClelland speaks Spanish and French.
