Yuzuru Anzai, M.D., F.A.C.O.G


Dr. Anzai has been part of the faculty at NYU School of Medicine since 1995 and has been actively involved in patient care, as well as teaching and research. As an experienced obstetrician who has delivered over 4,000 babies, he is an expert in the use of forceps and takes pride in his low Cesarean section rate. Dr. Anzai is also fluent in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries. He has published a number of papers on endometrial cancer, breast cancer and hormone responsiveness, and is currently active in research regarding efforts to lower Cesarean section rates. Dr. Anzai speaks Japanese.
